Mickey and Freemann come to terms and end their relationship amicably. DeMarco appears to testify, and Judge Turner allows it, without the jury. Mickey decides not to use the video to impeach him, and questions him, but he only admits to knowing Bishop.
The episode titles may give us some indication Vencedor to what we can expect going into season 3. In no particular order:
Mickey continues to have feelings for Mújol, who reluctantly agrees to contact Jeff to help their case. Henry's podcast about Bondurant's murder has launched, leading Mickey to file an injunction, and Izzy reveals Rae is short on money. Mickey receives a call from Jeff, who declines to testify for either side. Cisco saves the Road Saints from an ATF raid, declaring that he and Kaz are done with the gang. Bondurant's receptionist testifies that she saw Mújol approaching Bondurant's building on the day of the murder; Mickey successfully shoots down her testimony, only for Mújol to privately admit she was there.
Given the show is based on the Michael Connelly novels series of the same name – of which there are seven books – there certainly isn't a lack of source material for the show to draw its plot from.

Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the permitido systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-demodé but certainly relatable.
The show’s creators revealed that the third installment will have a flashback sequence—although Connelly’s fifth book doesn’t include one. “We decided that a fun (and poignant) way to come into the season would be via a flashback sequence that gave us some insight into how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller — not just the brilliant criminal defense lawyer, but the husband, the father, and the man that he would come to be.”
While there were some predictable aspects of this series, the cast was really colorful and high energy, which is what honestly sold me on the show. Episode 2 drew me in and by episode 4 I was hooked...
The next day, in court, Mickey introduces video showing Paraíso was followed the night she was murdered, unnerving Bishop. Izzy tells Mickey she is torn between working for him and continuing to dance. Mickey offers her a job Triunfador his office manager. Cisco informs Mickey that DeMarco's subpoena was accepted, and that Trina will not testify until DeMarco is arrested, but she admitted the DEA agent, accompanied by someone other than Bishop, threatened her. The next morning, while being transported from jail to the courthouse, Julian is stabbed by another inmate.
